Vanguard reports that the founder of the Living Faith Church is encouraging all Nigerians to help disaster victims.

The Man of God made this appeal in Makurdi while offering relief materials to the Benue State Emergency Management Agency, SEMA.

He said, “In Living Faith Church, apart from the propagation of the message of salvation, we also believe in the support for victims of whatever misfortune.

"We commiserate with the government and people of Benue State on the huge devastation caused by the flood and pray that such misfortune never happens again.”

The materials include mattresses, wheelbarrows, wrappers, cooking oil, bags of maize and beans, cartons of tomato paste, bathing soap and cooking pots, all meant for the victims of recent flood disaster in Benue.

Represented by Pastor Moses Oyedele, the bishop handed over the materials to the representative of the Chairman of the Flood Committee and Deputy Governor, Mr Benson Abounu.
